Marylou McDonald

Marylou McDonald, age 60, passed away peacefully on October 26th, 2022. She was preceded in death by her son, David Francis White (Davey), her mother and father, Francis and Janet McDonald and her brothers, Michael McDonald and John McDonald. She is survived by her children; Josh White, Ryan McDonald, Molly (Adam Blommel) White and Maggy (Matt) Smith, as well as her grandchildren; Kayden, Owen, Skylar, Naomi, Silas and others, her sisters; Joanne (Jim) Caplea and Laura (Keith) Conley and her nieces and nephews.

Mary Lou was a generous, joyful person that never met a stranger. She dealt with devastating loss and grief and pain in life, and though she found solace in some damaging places, she also dealt with her trials with a sweet and self-deprecating humor and that endeared her to all that knew her. She now rests peacefully in her Heavenly Father’s arms, free from all the troubles she faced on this earth.   

To celebrate Marylou’s life, her family will receive friends from 6-7pm Tuesday evening (11-1) at Stier-Israel Funeral Home in Louisville.
