Mike Greathouse II, age 47, beloved and wonderful, loving father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew, grandson, and friend passed away on June 12, 2026. Mike was born on June 22, 1978, to his proud and loving parents, Michael Greathouse and Connie Todoran Greathouse.
Mike was loved by many for his outgoing personality and his love and zest for life. He was a proud dad who lived for his three children and loved them more than anything in this world.
Mike was a 1996 graduate of Louisville High School, attended Akron University and completed the apprenticeship program of the Northeast Ohio Carpenters where he excelled and became a skilled, respected craftsman in the union carpentry trade for decades, working for CJI construction.
Mike was an artist, loved singing karaoke, and motorcycle riding with his children and dear friend, Jamie Gruber. Music was another passion where he made his mark with his band, Last Second Decision, as a singer and guitarist with his band mates and dear friends, Matt Lyons, John Butler, and the late Andy Berg. But he loved nothing more in this life than his three wonderful children; Marilyn, Michael III, and Melody who survive their loving father to carry on his legacy of love, truth, and caring. The quality time Mike spent with his children, the many activities and adventures they shared will give them wonderful memories for the rest of their lives.
Mike leaves behind to cherish his memory, his three children, his parents, his beloved brother, Nick Greathouse, niece, Lydia Greathouse, special cousin Amber Erwin and her family, grandmother, Nancy Todoran, mother of his children, Kristen Greathouse, many cousins, aunts, uncles, and beloved friends. Mike is preceded in death by, grandfathers, George M. Todoran and Chester Moczek and grandmother, Mary Ellen Greathouse.
Please give someone a hug, make somebody smile and live each day to the fullest in memory of Mike.
