Michael Patrick Hildebrand

Michael Patrick Hildebrand died peacefully in Aultman Hospital on December 18th, 2020 in Canton, Ohio at the age of 66.

Mike is survived by his children, Kathleen (Mike) Earl of Malvern, William (Carrie) Hildebrand of Massillon, and three grandsons Sam Earl, Max Earl, and Vincen Hildebrand. He is preceded in death by his parents Bill and Marge Hildebrand.

Mike was born on August 9th, 1954 in Canton, Ohio. He graduated from Louisville High School in 1972 and was a diehard Leopard fan.  His children remember him as a humorous and dedicated father who encouraged them to pursue their goals and never quit.  He had experienced many ups and downs in life and continued to model for his family that even though life is not easy, with hard work you can be successful.

Mike was known for his compassion for others.  He continued to donate to numerous organizations like St. Jude and other Catholic charities.   He was an active and dedicated member of the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Maximo.  Michael also was a member of the American Legion, Louisville Eagles, and VFW.  Mike’s other passion was football.  He was an Ohio State Buckeye till the end. The family would like to thank Aultman Hospital, the doctors, and especially the ICU nurses for their care of their father.  They are all doing amazing work under extraordinary circumstances.
