Michael Spitale

Michael Spitale, age 87, of Louisville, OH passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2024. He was born June 2, 1936 in Canton, OH to the late Cono and Mary (Repace) Spitale. Mike was an Army Veteran and he retired from the Ford Motor Co. in 1993. He was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church in Louisville.

Mike is survived by two daughters, Christine (Bruce) Seemann, Angela (Bob) Begert; his son, Tom Spitale; three sisters, Judy (Gary) Esway-Cugino, Margaret Chaney, Mary Swain; five grandchildren, Sarah Spitale, Thomas (Claire) Spitale, Carly (Kyle) Whitsett, Angelina (Nathan Nicholas) Seemann, Michael Gianni Spitale; three great-grandchildren, Killian and Stella Whitsett, Levi Spitale. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jacqueline (Kroah) Spitale in 2020; his brother, Arthur Spitale and his daughter-in-law, Dawn Spitale.

Funeral services will be 12 noon Friday at Stier-Israel Funeral Home in Louisville. Calling hours will be 1 hour before services on Friday at the funeral home.  Mike will be laid to rest, beside his wife, in St. Louis Parish Cemetery at a later date.
