"Together Forever"

Michalene Ann Saunier, age 84, of Alliance, OH, formerly of Homeworth and Louisville passed away Thursday, January 30, 2025. “Mike” was born in Canton, OH on Leap Day, February 29, 1940 and will be forever 21.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Ann Fedor; her husband of 63 years, Robert Saunier; a daughter, Robin and siblings, Jack, Jim, Billy, Michael and Margaret. Michalene is survived by three daughters, Michele Saunier, Rhonda (Tim) Keiser, Christine (Mark) Thomas; a sister, Mary Preusser; grandchildren, Renae, Robby, David, Derek, Lindsay, Kellie, Stephanie, Valerie, Andrea and Nick; eight great-grandchildren; her niece, Dawn and nephew, Jimmy.

Most recently, Michalene was employed at Marcs in Alliance. She and her husband were the owners of Bob’s Mower and Canvas Service in Louisville. She enjoyed flower gardening, decorating her home, going to garage sales and spending time with Bob, her girls and the grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11am Tuesday (2/4) at St. Louis Catholic Church in Louisville. The family will receive friends 9-10am Tuesday morning at Stier-Israel Funeral Home in Louisville. Michalene will be laid to rest, beside her husband, in St. Louis Parish Cemetery, Louisville, OH.
