Nyda Mae (Noftsinger) Rapp

Nyda Mae Rapp, age 82, of Louisville, OH passed away Monday, April 24, 2023. She was born March 28, 1941 in Massillon, OH to the late William and Mary Noftsinger. Nyda was a long-time member of the Louisville F.O.E. Ladies axillary, where she served as secretary for many years.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Dale Rapp. Nyda is survived by two daughters, Kelly (Ken) Pape, Michelle Allour; two sons, William “BJ” (Laura) Rapp and Tim (Melissa) Rapp; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 12noon Friday at Stier-Israel Funeral Home in Louisville with Pastor Rick Brown officiating. Calling hours will be 11am-12noon Friday at the funeral home. Nyda will be laid to rest, beside her husband, in Union Cemetery, Louisville, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
