Peggy J. (Bland) Gotter

Peggy J. “The Pie Lady” Gotter, age 85, of Louisville, OH passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2023. She was born September 19, 1937 in Alliance, OH to the late Virgil and Irma (Stackhouse) Bland. She was a 1955 graduate of Alliance High School and attended Kent State University. Peggy was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church and a former member of the St. Louis Home and School Association where she had served as treasurer. She also served as the secretary for the Louisville High School Booster Club.

Peggy is survived by her husband of 66 years, William L. Gotter; her daughter, Theresa (Janet) Gotter; three sons, Larry (Toni), Greg (Kim), and Drew (Janice) Gotter; seven grandchildren, Kyle, Brittany, Sara, Sammy, Isaac, Kristina and Shawn and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Patrick Gotter; two brothers, Virgil and David Bland and a granddaughter, Maddie Gotter.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00am Tuesday morning at St. Louis Catholic Church in Louisville with Fr. Tom Bishop as celebrant. Calling hours will be 6-8pm Monday evening at Stier-Israel Funeral Home in Louisville. Peggy will be laid to rest in St. Louis Parish Cemetery.
