Randall H. Leedy

Randall (Randy) H. Leedy passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, on his 75th birthday. Randy was born in Uniontown, PA to Warner and Lorraine Leedy on November 27, 1949. He grew up and attended school in Louisville, OH. To many, he was a teacher and explorer, as well as a loving father, uncle and brother.

Randy was a man driven by his passions, which included astronomy, biology, and nature, though his greatest passion in life was traveling. Dedicated to exploring the world, Randy visited countless countries. Through his travels, Randy made many friends and was known to teach and assist children in underserved communities.  

He devoted his life to teaching math and science, spending most of his teaching career in Alaska. Upon retirement, Randy returned to Louisville, and shortly after relocated to Bangkok, Thailand, which he called home for the last few years of his life.  

Randy is survived by his sisters Kristan Finn, Cynthia Yeagley, and Ellie Leedy and his daughter, Sumintra Leedy.
