Richard Gene Siedler Jr, age 58, of Stockbridge, GA passed away on Tuesday August 30, 2022. He was born in Canton, OH on August 23, 1964, the son of Richard G. Siedler (deceased) and Nancy Blythe Siedler.
A graduate of Louisville High School Class of 1982 and Akron University 1986, with a B. S. in Biology and Education. While in High School Rick was a member of the Choir and Varsity Singers. He also performed several productions with The Canton Players Guild Youth Theatre. Rick was blessed with a fine intellect, many talents and interests: Guitar playing, Sculpting and Blowing Glass, Wood Working and he earned a Black Belt in Martial Arts. He also enjoyed his membership in SCA (a medieval arts society) for many years. He taught high school Biology and Science in Florida and Georgia influencing and encouraging many students to make better life choices. Rick was a favorite teacher to some, who remained in contact with him.
Rick was preceded in death by his father, Richard, His Grandparents; Ernest F. and Cora Lungren Blythe, Henry and Lota Masters Siedler. Aunts and Uncles, William and Evelyn Blythe Schaefer, John Blythe, Rose Blythe, Al and Doris Siedler Pruitt and Donald and Shirley Siedler. He is survived by his mother Nancy and dearly loved Rebekah L. Tarvin, His Uncle Gary L. Blythe, and Aunts; Judith Blythe Cross, Janet Blythe Cassey and Becky Blythe Watson. He leaves behind many cousins; some he regarded as brothers and sisters and friends.
A family graveside service was held in North Lawn Cemetery, Canton, OH.
