Robert M. Kemp, age 83, of Louisville, OH passed away Sunday, January 10, 2021. He was born March 13, 1937 in Belmont, OH to the late Robert L. and Carrie (Paden) Kemp. Bob was a member of Peace United Methodist Church. He was retired from Republic Steel and the United States Postal Service. He had a love for playing cards with family and friends, attending car shows and drag races, riding his John Deer Tractor and getting a burger at Bud’s Corner.
Bob is survived by his wife, Charlotte Kemp; daughter, Sonia (Tom) Zetzer; two sons, Michael (Holly) Kemp and Allen (Bev) Kemp; step-children, Doug Reed, Dan (Stacey) Reed and Nathan Reed; grandchildren, Racheal and Joe Zetzer, Ryan Kemp, MaKenna, Ava, and Lauren Kemp, Codey Reed, Jacob and Luke Reed; six great-grandchildren and many special nieces, nephews and brother and sister-in-laws. Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by his 1st wife, Joan Kemp, granddaughter, Nancy Kemp and siblings, June Millard, Sally Stephens and Alice Wehr.
Funeral services will be 11am Fri at Stier-Israel Funeral Home in Louisville. Calling hours will be 10:30-11am Friday morning at the funeral home. Bob will be laid to rest, with a graveside service at 2:30pm on Friday in the Rockhill Cemetery, Flushing, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Peace United Methodist Church, 5520 Ravenna Ave NE, Louisville, OH 44641.
