Russell Lee Smith, Jr.

Russell Lee Smith Jr, age 55, of Canton, OH passed away Monday, July 19, 2021. He was born May 24, 1966 in Canton, OH. Russell was a former employee of United Grinding and Machine of Canton. He was an avid outdoorsman and hunter. He was a member of the NRA, Mapleton Gun Club and Zeppelin Gun Club.

Russell was preceded in death by his father, Russell Lee Smith, Sr. He is survived by his wife, Linda Smith; his mother, Marybelle Smith; two sons, Josh and Jake Smith; step-daughter, Amanda (Milan) Trumbull; four step-sons, Christopher Powell, Gary Powell, Shane Powell and Cody (Michelle) Powell; a brother, Richard Smith.

Funeral services will be 12noon Monday at Stier-Israel Funeral Home in Louisville. Calling hours will be from 10am-12noon on Monday at the funeral home. Russell will be laid to rest in Warstler Cemetery, Canton, OH. Online condolences may be left at www.stierisraelfuneralhome.com
