Samuel Yossifides Obituary

Samuel H. Yossifides, aka. Sam Yost, of Canton, OH passed away Monday, Dec. 4, 2023 on his 102nd birthday. He was born in Canton, OH on Dec. 4, 1921 to the late Harry and Christina Yossifides. Sam was also preceded in death by a sister and a brother. He is survived by several nieces. Sam was a WWII Navy Veteran and a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. He was retired from the Stark County Sheriffs office and he was the former owner operator of Harcrist Radio and TV Repair in Canton.

Sam will be laid to rest, beside his parents, in Forrest Hill Cemetery, Canton, OH. Online condolences may be left at www.stierisraelfuneralhome.com
