Sherry D. “Charlene” Lattimer

Sherry D. “Charlene” Lattimer, age 93, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, November 28, 2021, at her home surrounded by her loving children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Born October 12, 1928; she was the eldest child born to John and Opal (Postlethwaite) Arnette.  She lived in Charlestown and Rootstown, spent most of her life in Atwater, then lived in Randolph for the past 20 years.

Sherry dedicated a lot of passion, zeal, and effort into serving the Lord in numerous ministries throughout her life, mostly at the First Baptist Church in Atwater.  She was a dedicated homemaker for most of her life but entered the workforce later in life and retired from what was then, Atwater Strong Company.

She lived for her family and constantly sacrificed for them; she will be greatly missed by her children: Robert Jr (Jeannie), Randy (Denise), Christy, and Mark (Kristen); 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren children; brother Rex Arnette and a sister Linda Webster, as well as many nephews, nieces, other relatives, and many wonderful friends.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert D. Lattimer, Sr in 2001; grandson, Christopher “Loppy”; great-grandson, Mark Nathan; brother John Darrell Arnette; as well as sisters: Arlene Woodall, Marilyn Coates, and Donna Kay Lemasters.

Friends will be received at Louisville Baptist Temple, 6565 Columbus Rd. N.E., Louisville, Ohio 44641 on Thursday, December 2, 2021 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM, where the funeral service will begin at 7:00PM, with her son, Mark and grandson, Christopher will be officiating.  Private burial will take place at the Atwater Cemetery.
