Shirley J (Tennant) Simpson

Shirley J. Simpson, age 85, of Louisville, OH passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2023. She was born February 2, 1938 in Fairmont, West Virginia to the late Ira and Audrey Tennant. She retired from the Canton Credit Bureau after 25 years as a supervisor. Shirley was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and the Friendship Sunday School class of the church. She was a member of the Legacy Chapter of Eastern Star.

Shirley is survived by her husband of 66 years, Elmer Simpson and her son, Roger Simpson.

Funeral services will be 11am Monday at Stier-Israel Funeral Home in Louisville with Pastor Michael Grant officiating. Calling hours will be 10-11am Monday morning at the funeral home. Shirley will be laid to rest in Olive-Tennant Cemetery in West Virginia. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Christ United Methodist Church, 600 E.
