Ty Coon, age 60, of Louisville, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 13, 2024. He was born December 12, 1963 in Columbus, Ohio to George and Linda Coon.
Ty was a 1982 graduate of Louisville High School. After graduating, he went on to be a part of his family business, Coon Caulking. He worked there for several years before branching out and starting other construction/restoration businesses. After “retiring” from the construction field Ty settled in to the quiet life. He enjoyed simple things like birding watching, sitting around a fire with his neighbors and building things for his family and friends. During football season he dedicated his weekends to rooting for The Ohio State Buckeyes & Cleveland Browns.
Ty was a beloved father, grandfather, son, brother and friend. He was known and loved by many for his kindhearted nature and generosity. He was always willing to give someone the shirt off his back. He will be missed and remembered by all who knew him.
Ty is survived by his mother, Linda Coon; his daughter, Allyssa (Clint) Griffin; three sons, Ty (Mariah) Coon II, Seth (Taylor) Coon, Levi Coon; his sister, Kellie (Mark) Mathie; two brothers, George (Peggy) Coon Jr and Steve (Jenny) Coon; seven grandchildren, Ellie, Scarlett, Camdyn, Ty III, Crew, Athena, Declan and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, George Coon Sr.
