William "Bill" Yoak

William “Bill” Yoak, age 79, of Louisville, OH passed away Monday, April 12, 2021. He was born July 11, 1941 in West Virginia to the late Johnson and Virgie Yoak. Bill was retired from the Akron City Water Dept, after 25 years of service. He was an avid golfer, fisherman and deer hunter.

Bill is survived by his wife of 37 years, Verna Jeanne Yoak; a daughter, Michelle (Fred) O’Connor; step-daughter, Lisa (Bob) Smith; sister, Hazel; three brothers, Dan, Rod and David; granddaughter, Brandi and several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by three sisters, Jeanne, Martha and Mary.

Funeral services will be 12noon Friday at Stier-Israel Funeral Home in Louisville with Brian Grubbs officiating. Calling hours will be 11-12 Friday morning at the funeral home.
