Ruth M. Locke, age 86, of Louisville, OH passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2017. She was born February 23, 1931 in Canton, OH to the late Roy and Laura Adams. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harold Locke, in 1997, one brother, Sonny Adams; three sisters, Beverly Motz, Caroline “Carrie” McCune and Shirley O’Neil; foster-son, Bob McCune and a nephew George Checkan. Ruth is survived her daughter, Debbie (Bruce) Ost, her son, Neal (Dario) Locke, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild; three sisters, Flora Miller, Jackie Parker and Mary Hardesty; her companion, Rodney Blackburn.

Funeral services will be 1pm Friday at Stier-Israel Funeral Home. Calling hours will be 12-1pm Friday at the funeral home. Ruth will be laid to rest beside her husband in Forrest Hill Cemetery, Canton, OH. Online condolences may be left at www.stierisraelfuneralhome.com
