Edward C. Cowley

Edward C. Cowley, age 81, of Hartville, OH passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2021. He was born December 6, 1939 in Canton, OH to the late George and Hazel (Green) Cowley. Ed was a Navy Veteran. He was retired from Republic Steel and he was the former assistant chief at the Fairhope/Nimishillen Twp Fire Department.

Ed was also preceded in death by his wife, Kathaleen in 2000; a sister, Linda Cowley and a brother, Larry Cowley. He is survived by three sons, Steven (Ann), Gary (Karla) and Danny (Kim) Cowley; three sisters, Doris Coates, Joan Turner, Georgie Castanien; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 12 noon Friday at Stier-Israel Funeral Home in Louisville with Chaplain John Diller officiating. Calling hours will be 11am-12noon Friday at the funeral home.
