Elaunda June Jamison

Elaunda J. Jamison, age 86, of Louisville, OH passed away in the comfort of her home on Friday, March 15, 2024 with her family by her side. She was born February 14, 1938 in Copen, West Virginia to the late Burton and Eva (Poling) Steele. She was a long-time member of the Louisville Baptist Temple and she was very passionate about her flowers and gardening.

Elaunda was preceded in death by her husband, Basil Jamison in 1973 and a son, Tim Jamison. She is survived by three sons, Rick (Sue), Bob (Debbie) and Terry (Jennifer) Jamison; her sister, Leona Misenko; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 6pm Tuesday evening at Stier-Israel Funeral Home in Louisville. Calling hours will be 5-6pm Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Elaunda will be laid to rest, beside her husband, in Copen Cemetery, Copen, West Virginia. In memory of Elaunda, memorial donations may be made to the Louisville Baptist Temple.
