Glenn A. Motts, Jr

Glenn Arthur Motts Jr. went to be with the Lord November 27, 2021. He is reunited with the love of his life Norma Jane (Darrah) Motts.  He was preceded in death by his father Glenn Motts Sr. and mother Wilda (Kandel) Motts.  He is also preceded in death by his sister Joanne (Motts) Krach. 

Glenn was a man who wore many hats in his life.  He was a graduate of the Nursing Program of Ohio State University in 1954.  He was a ground breaker for men in the nursing profession.  He was employed by J & L Steel in Louisville, Mercy Hospital, Timken Mercy Hospital, and Canton Eye Center.  In 1976 he changed the course of his life and bought and ran Motts Greenhouse in Louisville until he retired.

Glenn loved to travel with his wife in their motor home.  They had many years of adventure traveling from coast to coast. Glenn was an avid reader and was interested in many topics.   He was a life- long member of Juillard Masonic Lodge. 

Glenn is survived by four children.  Charlene (Wayne) Moore of Louisville, Glenn (Alicia)Motts of California, Randy (Colleen) Motts of Waynesburg, John (Linda) Motts of Louisville.  He has 14 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Carol (James) Dewalt of East Canton, Mary (Gary) Bauer of Norwalk, and John (Bonnie) Motts of Delaware, Ohio.

He faithfully attended East Canton Church of God until the pandemic. 

Celebration of his life with be at East Canton Church of God in East Canton, Ohio on Thursday, December 2, 2021.  Calling hours from 10 A.M. – 11 A.M.  Services from 11 A.M. – 12 noon with lunch afterwards at the church. Masonic services will be 9:30am Thursday morning at the church.
