Harry Ernest Blasiman, age 92, of Louisville, OH passed away Sunday, July 31, 2022. He was born Aug. 17, 1929 to the late William & Clara Blasiman. Harry was a graduate of Middlebranch High School. He was employed as a delivery driver for Ralph Karper and Coen Oil Co. He also worked for the Firestone Farm in Middlebranch, OH in his youth. Harry proudly served in the US Army, 2nd Infantry Unit, in the Korean War. He was a Purple Heart recipient. Harry belonged to the D.A.V., K.W.V.A., American Legion, VFW, Louisville Eagles and the Alliance Elks. He was also a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Alliance.
Harry is survived by his wife of 69 years, Elinore Blasiman; a son, David (Diane) Blasiman; a sister, Mary Louise Anderson; special cousin, Alice Ryter; plus many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, William Jr, Howard and Ronald “Tiny” Blasiman.
Funeral services will be 11am Thursday at Stier-Israel Funeral Home in Louisville with Pastor Timothy Muse officiating. Calling hours will 10-11am Thursday morning at the funeral home.
