"Together Again"
Irmajane Zelei of Louisville Ohio, passed away peacefully December 14, 2020 at the age of 85. She was born April 19, 1935 in Canton to the late Vincent and Irma (Burk) McDonald. Irmajane worked for Webb-Broda Insurance Co. and enjoyed gardening, baking, reading, walks at the park, sports and lunch with her Louisville High School Class of 1952 friends. Most of all, she enjoyed being with her family. She will be greatly missed by all of her nieces and nephews: Michael Hildebrand, William (Carrie), Vincen Hildebrand, Kathleen (Mike), Samuel, Maxwell Earl, Christopher and Caitlin Kerzan, Eric (Mary), Stephen Kerzan, Brittny (Andrew) Adams, Susan Kerzan, Bonnie, Linda, Sandy, Vickie, Diane, Debbie, Karen, Tommy, Timmy, Scott, Steve, Hugh, Charles, Charlene, Shelly, Dennis, Tim, Mike, Margie, Mary, Pug, Mark, Matt, Marsha, Janice, Barbie, Bruce, Rick and Pam.
She is survived by her sister Nancy (Jerry) Kerzan and sister-in-law, Helen McDonald.
In addition to her parents, Irmajane was preceded in death by her husband Mike Zelei and by her siblings Eileen Brenzel, Vincent (Tim) McDonald, Marge Hildebrand, Patricia Coberly, Charles McDonald, Rich McDonald, Tom McDonald, nephews, Vincent Brenzel, Patrick McDonald and Paul McDonald.
Irmajane's Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday, December 22 at 11:30am in St. Louis Catholic Church, Louisville Ohio with visitation prior to the services, at the church, from 10:00am-11:15am. Irmajane will be laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery, Massillon, OH. Those attending are asked to wear a protective mask and practice safe distancing. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Akron Children's Hospital. The family would like to thank Altercare of Alliance for their special care and compassion.
