Jack M. Johnson

Jack M. Johnson, 91, of Canton, OH passed away peacefully, in his home, on Friday August 5, 2022 with his family by his side. He was born June 27, 1931 in Canton, OH to the late Johnny and Ethel Johnson. Jack was an Army Veteran, and he was retired from Republic Steel after 30 years of service. He was a member of the Louisville Church of Christ.

Jack is survived by his wife of 66 years, Mary Johnson; two daughters, Valerie (Virgil Jr) Ring, Phyllis Diann Matelski; a son, Johnney (Theresa) Johnson; six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a sister and three brothers. The family would like to thank Gretchen and Pattie of Aultman Hospice for the wonderful care that they gave Jack. 

A memorial service will be 2pm Thursday at Louisville Church of Christ, 1520 California Ave, Louisville, OH 44641. The family will receive friends from 1-2pm Thursday at the church.
