Marilyn J (Henkel) Harter

Marilyn J. Harter, age 89, of Alliance, OH passed away Sunday, December 20, 2020. She was born March 26, 1931 in North Canton, OH to the late Robert and Hazel (Brown) Henkel. She graduated from Middlebranch HS in 1949. Marilyn worked for Diamond Portland Cement in Middlebranch for 2 years and retired from Alliance Manufacturing after 19 years. She was a member of Cornerstone Christian Church in Alliance.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Harter, in 2011, a son, Douglas Harter, two sisters and two brothers. She is survived by three sons, Wayne Jr, Jeffrey and Bradley Harter; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11am Tuesday (12/29) at Stier-Israel Funeral Home in Louisville, OH. Calling hours will be 10-11am Tuesday morning at the funeral home. Marilyn will be laid to rest in Sunset Hills Burial Park, Canton, OH. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Cornerstone Christian Church.
