Peggy Lou (Carpenter) Israel

Peggy Lou Israel, age 80, of Beloit, Ohio, passed away Saturday February 10, 2018. She was born in Beloit, Ohio on May 14, 1937 to the late Darrell and Helen (Naylor) Carpenter. Peggy was retired from the West Branch School District as a Secretary. She was a member of the Saxon Club in Salem and the SAS Pigeon Club.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Perry G. Israel. Peggy is survived by a sister, Jo Ann (Barry) Fowler; a brother, Richard Carpenter; several nieces and nephews and a special niece, Tammy Barkley.

A memorial service will be held at 11am Thursday in the Chapel at Copeland Oaks Retirement Home, 800 S. 15th St., Sebring, Ohio 44672 with Pastor Peter Fowler officiating. Burial will be in Damascus Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salem First Friends Church, 1028 Jennings Ave, Salem, Ohio 44460.
