Ronald L Burkett

Ronald L Burkett, age 86, of Louisville, OH passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 8, 2024 in his home. He was born March 3, 1938 in Canton, OH to the late Julius and Erma Burkett. Ron graduated from Lincoln High School and he was a Marine Veteran. He retired from the Ford Motor Company in 2000. He was a member of Christ Church in Louisville.

Ron is survived by three sons, Eric (Angie), Shawn (Teresa), and Patrick (Rhonda) Burkett; five grandchildren, Alex, Joshua, Jacob, Aly and Troy; three great-grandsons, Owen, Cole and Parker. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda (Beutler) Burkett in 2018 and his sister, Judy King.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, March 14 at Stier-Israel Funeral Home in Louisville with Pastor Michael Grant officiating. Calling hours will be 11-12 Thursday morning at the funeral home. Ron will be laid to rest, beside his wife, in Sunset Hills Burial Park, Canton, OH.
